Richard Plenos, currently based in New Zealand. I've been passionately teaching guitar, ukulele, and bass for 17 years. My journey began 16 years ago in Davao City, Philippines, and has continued for 1 year in Red Beach, New Zealand. Over the years, I've mastered a diverse range of musical genres including pop, rock, blues, metal, and jazz fusion. My teaching spans from fundamental techniques to advanced skills across these instruments. Additionally, I offer comprehensive lessons in both basic and advanced music theory, emphasizing musical improvisation. My experience allows me to teach students of all ages with tailored approaches. Beyond teaching, I've spent 12 years as a performing musician in Davao City, playing across various bars and clubs.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in English and have 5 years of teaching experience in a Public Primary School in Davao City, Philippines. Music is my ultimate source of inspiration, motivation, and joy, allowing me the freedom of expression. To me, life is inseparable from music.
